Phebean Gadison 

Co-Founder ; Chief Executive Officer

​Phebean Gadison is the CEO and visionary behind Violet Love and the daughter of Abiodun Violet. Creating this non-profit organization, she hoped to create a platform that helps inspire women to become bigger and better than they could have imagined, a place where every woman's dream can become a reality. She is passionate about uplifting women. Phebean is a Small Event Planning business owner in Raleigh, North Carolina.
 She is a wife and proud mother of two exceptional children, a beautiful daughter, and a brilliant son. She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at local food shelters, and cooking in her free time.

Ann-Michelle Roberts

Co-Founder ; Executive Director 

Ann-Michelle is the co-founder of Violet love and the granddaughter of  Abiodun Violet. A 2015 graduate of Meredith College graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, and Criminology: Concentration in Law and Justice. She is a Hillary For America Alumna. A feminist in her own right and a fighter for equal opportunities for humans, no matter the color of their skin, their gender, or age. 
She is passionate about women's issues, such as reproductive health and the gender wage gap.
Ann-Michelle likes to spend time with her family during her free time, traveling, and loves trying new recipes. ​


Ibrahim Bangura

Africa Project Lead

Ibrahim Sorie Bangura is a dedicated advocate for community development and social equity. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Diploma in Early Childhood and Care Education from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
​Committed to advancing women’s empowerment, Ibrahim joined the Violet Love Organization in 2022 as the Project Lead in Sierra Leone, overseeing programs in supported schools. His work with the organization reflects his passion for creating sustainable solutions that uplift vulnerable women and girls.
Beyond his leadership role, Ibrahim is also a dedicated mentor and a strong advocate for innovative approaches to women’s empowerment, continuously striving to foster meaningful change in his community.
